When dark covers from endless night
When peace vanishes out of sight
When fear cripples me to the core
I can't see good in this anymore
Bring me to new horizons
Where light breaks in and darkness fades
Your presence is my anchor
A new day's coming and hope remains
When all glimmers of joy are gone
When faith wanes as the fight goes on
When despair starts to suffocate
I can't breathe for the toll it takes
Bring me to new horizons
Where light breaks in and darkness fades
Your presence is my anchor
A new day's coming and hope remains

Run (To Lose Everything Is Gain)
The chorus for this song comes from three of my favourite passages of Scripture: Philippians 3:14, Hebrews 12:1-3 and James 1:2-3, 12.
Run (To Lose Everything Is Gain)
I walk a narrow road
My eyes on the Father
He keeps my troubled soul
In the palm of His hand
And when I lose my way
He guides me to safety
Forever my Escape
I wanna be lost in His love
So I will run for all I believe in
With patience until I see Him -
Jesus Christ, seated on His throne
A radiance I long to behold
And I will run the race to claim my prize
Of the upward call of Jesus Christ
Enduring through the trials and the pain
Knowing to lose everything is gain
This world, it gets so tough
When I lose my focus
Those mountain peaks and cliffs
Are so hard to climb
The only thing to do
Is cry out to Jesus
Revive this sinner's soul
Keep my eyes fixed on You God
And I will run for all I believe in
With patience until I see Him -
Jesus Christ, seated on His throne
A radiance I long to behold
And I will run for all the world to see
The light of Christ that shines through me
Rejoicing in the trials and the pain
Knowing to lose everything is gain

You're All I Need
Thinking of all the things I love
Believing You don't measure up
Lord, how that must grieve Your heart
Forgive me and keep me in Your arms
Thinking of all the time I waste
Apart from You going my own way
Father don't stop chasing me
In You alone there's rest and peace
Please
Won't You change my priorities
Bring me to my knees
And help me see You're all I need
Help me mean it when I say
Take whatever's in my way
I cannot get through life apart from You another day
Help me mean it when I plead
Jesus, take my everything
Cause You held nothing back when You gave it all for me
Keep me at the cross
Remembering the cost
The suffering, the loss
My Saviour gave it all
Keep me at Your feet
In true humility
You rose in victory
And by Your grace I'm free

This Season
I've had many a sleepless night
Thinking about this situation
Can it be fixed come morning light
Or will I remain in pained anticipation?
I never thought that this would happen
I've stopped in my tracks, now You've got my attention
I've never been in this place before
I'm speechless, now I'm free to hear Your voice Lord
The pain brings me to my knees
Now I bow before You Jesus
This wall of despair that I feel
Opens old wounds, it won't let them heal
But my God I will trust in You
By Your grace I know You'll see me through
This season is so hard
The road is at times so dark
But the sunrise reminds me
Your mercies are new every morning
Still my heart
Don't let me fall apart
Lord I need You to guide me
As I walk to where You are

Whom Have I? (Psalm of Asaph)
This song was written from Psalm 73, one of my favourites!
Whom Have I? (Psalm of Asaph)
I used to be jealous of the insolent
I used to be envious of the arrogant
But now I see my wrong, I sing a greater song with You
With You
I used to crave the riches of the wicked
I thought in vain I washed my hands in innocence
But I'd rather be mocked for living out what You taught
What You taught
Whom have I in heaven but You Lord?
You're all that I desire
My flesh and heart may fail
But You're the strength of my heart
And my portion forever
I used to be bitter and senseless
I used to be a fool who lived in ignorance
But now I see the truth, I am always with You
With You
And now I live with freedom and assurance
You hold my hand and guide me to Your radiance
You'll never let me go, my good is that You're so close
You're so close
Whom have I in heaven but You Lord?
You're all that I desire
My flesh and heart may fail
But You're the strength of my heart
And my portion forever

Well I can't speak for what you're going through
I don't have the answers, I won't pretend I do
But I can tell it's hitting you hard
Don't give up, the end's not far
Maybe it's God way of turning you back to Him
Maybe it's God's way of proving He's sovereign
Maybe it's God's way of showing you He's working out His plan
Maybe it's God's way of reminding you
He's got the whole world in His hands
God never promised life would be easy
He didn't say we'd never know pain
But He gave us His Spirit and said He'd never leave us
And He gives us strength and hope for the day

Close my eyes
And I will sleep well tonight
Clinging to
The promises found in You
There's no need
To let fear keep me from peace
There's no need
To worry, I'll close my eyes and fall asleep
Run this race
With patience from You alone
Fix my eyes
On the Author of my faith
There's no need
For despair to tie me down
There's no need
To lose hope, I'll run this race to claim my crown
And though it seems to take forever
Your promises are always true
You give me hope of something better
If I will only wait on You
