My Story

I wrote My Story on April 4, 2011. I was contemplating life; why I’m here, what my purpose is, and it dawned on me that no matter what season I’m in or what I’m facing, my story will always be to glorify God and tell others about Him.

My Story

This is my story, why I’m here on earth
To tell of Your glory, to sing of Your worth
This is the reason why I live, the reason why You saved me
This is the reason why You give me breath of life each day
So I can praise

This is my story, to boldly speak Your truth
No matter where You call me, God I will live for You
This is the reason why You made me hands and feet to follow
This is the reason why You gave me lips to share Your Word
So I can serve

This is my story, in times of peace and pain
Green pastures or the valley, I am safe
You are the reason I am brave, why I can stand unshaken
You are the reason I can say my hope will not be taken

I will not be anxious for the future
I will not worry about the past
I will not be troubled in this present day
I’ll live for You, whatever comes my way
